There is no need to form those words,
That you feel the need to say.

I can tell from you actions,
The small smile on your lips,
The twinkle in your eyes,
The skip in your step.

I can tell from the tears,
The broken heart,
The way you grip my hand tight,
The darkness in your soul.

I can tell from the knitted eyebrows,
You head cocked to the side,
Your mouth forming the question why,
The way your brain is working overtime.

I can tell by the shuffling in your step,
The clicking of your fingers,
The biting of your lip,
The feet that point inwards.

I can tell from your wide ey

ReminiscenceIt hurt me to see the depth—
of those ivory, gleaming eyes.
Their passion gone, their once-love faded
deep in this redolent reminiscence.
Endless it may be, you say to the heavens,
but to me you were fulfilled, completed.

You shattered my heart to the ground
and yet—
I loved you all the more.
You trampled on my darkened soul,
ripped my wings from head to toe,
you destroyed my living, breathing core,
and yet I loved you all the more.

SinkingRecently I've been sinking
Like a stone into a pond
Having skimmed across the surface
Of life for far too long

It wasn't always like this

I can't escape this silence
As the light fades
And my eyes close

This heated lake
Captured me in its grasp
I felt the ice inside my soul break

I waited too long to cross the lake's surface
But now incarcerate in this liquid coffin
I stay in this cool but never frozen state

With an eternity under the icy ripples
The waters formed around me
Swallowed me

Carving out my heart
Washing away my happiness
As it sucked its way into my soul

I can't escape this feeling
Of sudden loss of air
I can't let it leave me here

But with half a breath left
And the time ticking down
I hold on to it for as long as I can

Painted Horse

the acrylic colour
of a wild beast
that runs and rises
before the sun

a wild animal
that man
will never understand
never take for claim

made of pure energy
braided into flesh
freedom left standing
staring before you

a beautiful creature
made in likeness of
nature's splendour
a beauty immeasurable

the muscles ripple
leaving nothing
but death and dust
as splinters break free

with fur of copper
a heart of fire
eyes of lightning
and limbs of liquid steel

roaming the west
unworldly and precious
majestic and untamed
the painted horse runs free

Dark redDrink not my blood, for my poluted mind -

The Knight

With bated breath,
I lie in wait.
Waiting for the fire,
And brimstone to fall down on me,
And cover me in ash.

I lie under the cloak of night,
Brandishing my steel sword as if it were my soul.
My iron clad body,
Holding steady,
As I wait for him.

The dragon of my fears.
With gleaming white fangs,
And a hard, cold stare
That burns flesh,
Like a winter's storm.

The dragon of the earth.
With such a brilliance,
And majesticness,
That it is unmatched by all other creatures.

The dragon,
With the jaded soul,
Jagged scales and strong legs
That carry his agile frame effortlessly.

That is thought to be perfect and lethal;
Inescapable and

Is free will a devout gift or a curse?

Was it free will that granted a desperate man to steal an old lady's purse?

Was it free will that resulted in multiple bodies carried in a hearse?

Was it free will that justified a police officer to shoot the accused first?

Was it free will that allowed a family man's mentality to be so perverse?

Could this world of ours get any worse?

Free will gives us the chance for all of us to be distinctive.

But as a consequence people can act corruptive and vindictive.

But without this choice, our lives would be constrained and restrictive.

A flirtation down the hall,
A smirk dancing on lush lips,
A pair of wandering eyes align.

Unheard whispers ready to bloom,
Breaths lost in forbidden fall,
Sentences trailing down hips,
Hands seeking desire's sign.

where it does not shine,

Memory's PainCut my chest open,

Sinking down,
Look around,
Slipping through the cracks.

Never knowing,
Where you're going,
Always have to ask.

You never lie,
You touch the sky,
You're never coming down.

Touch the wall,
Leave them all,
Go and wear your crown.

It's all a game,
They're all to blame,
It's never going to end.

So stand up tall,
Stand against the wall,
Prove that you won't bend.

It matters not,
If one is hot,
Only if one is kind.

You can fight,
For what is right,
You're not alone, you'll find.

You can win,
Against this sin,
And you can prove your worth.

Just stand up tall,
Back against the wall,
And throw them to the hearth!
