The setting sun, lights the way And tells all children To end their day. They go inside, Calm and quiet And listen to The eerie silence. This is the norm For them at home. There's no one there, They're on their own. Their parents died So long ago And yet they try The same glow. When their parents died, they each saw it the ground light up from where they did sit. It was unnatural They all would swear None knew what it would do Just knew it changed the air.

Sinking down, Look around, Slipping through the cracks. Never knowing, Where you're going, Always have to ask. You never lie, You touch the sky, You're never coming down. Touch the wall, Leave them all, Go and wear your crown. It's all a game, They're all to blame, It's never going to end. So stand up tall, Stand against the wall, Prove that you won't bend. Mommy Dearest I hate this If I may be so bold. I wish to know Why is it That the world is so cold? Nothing fits It's all the same There's never anything new.
